The Virtual University of Pakistan was set up in 2002 to meet the growing need for quality education in Pakistan. Its goal is to be a leader in distance learning, offering a flexible alternative to traditional schools. Using modern technologies like free satellite TV broadcasts and the Internet, the university provides high-quality education to students in even the most remote areas of Pakistan.
Virtual University Eligibility Criteria
- Admissions will start on the dates mentioned above. For the spring 2023 session, applications based on Hope Certificates will not be accepted.
- Applicants must submit their admission form and required documents (three sets) in hard copy at the chosen campus by the deadline. Only those who do so will have their applications processed.
- Make sure all uploaded documents are clear and follow the provided instructions.
- Applicants with ‘A’ Levels or foreign diplomas/degrees must provide an equivalency certificate from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) in Islamabad.
- Current VU students must cancel their old admission before applying again.
- Ensure all information and documents are accurate. The University may take strict action, including blacklisting or confiscating fees, for false information.
- Submit fees for only one program. If fees are submitted for multiple programs, the University may cancel the admission and keep the fee.
- Late admission forms will not be accepted, and incomplete forms will be rejected. Upload and send complete, readable documents.
- Only official transcripts or result cards will be accepted; online transcripts are not allowed.

How to Apply for Virtual University Admissions
- Sign Up: Visit the Virtual University admissions page and register with your CNIC/B-form and email. Check your email to verify your registration.
- Sign In: Log in using your CNIC/B form and password to access your application form.
- Select Program and Location: Choose your study program and location. Pick the nearest virtual campus or a home base. If you’re in Pakistan, select the “within Pakistan” option; if abroad, choose “outside Pakistan.”
