HEC Undergraduate Scholarship for GB Students
Students planning to do a four or five-year BS degree at HEC-recognized public universities or institutions can apply for these scholarships. The Higher Education Commission aims to provide scholarships to deserving Pakistani students. Each year, different scholarships are given to students from each province. To apply, students must submit their applications online through the HEC Scholarship Portal on the HEC website.

These scholarships are only given to deserving students who are passionate about learning. Applications must be submitted by September 30, 2024. Since Gilgit-Baltistan is one of Pakistan’s most underdeveloped areas, the education level there is very low. A non-refundable fee of Rs. 500 must be paid through a 1Link 1Bill invoice using participating banks, ATMs, internet banking, or mobile banking.

HEC GB Scholarship 2024 Selection Process
Eligible candidates can apply through the HEC portal. Paper applications will not be accepted. To apply, visit https://eportal.hec.gov.pk. The application processing fee must be paid to the HEC account. One major problem is the lack of educational opportunities. Follow the instructions on the HEC portal to make the payment.
HEC Undergraduate Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: Applicants must be 22 or younger by the application deadline.
- Domicile Requirement: Applicants must have a valid domicile or local certificate from Balochistan or the former FATA, verified by the district administration.
- Educational Qualifications: Applicants must have completed 12 years of education (FA, FSC, ICOM, ICS, DAE, or equivalent) with at least 60% marks.
- Existing Scholarships: Applicants already receiving any other HEC or government scholarship are not eligible.
- Result Status: Applicants must have completed their academic qualifications by the application deadline. Students waiting for results cannot apply.
